Trauma-Informed Therapy in Indiana
Healing from trauma isn't simply about understanding intellectually that something happened in the past.
Your experiences can influence how you respond to relationships, conflict, intimacy, uncertainty, safety, and even your own thoughts and emotions.
That's why Amy takes an integrative approach to trauma therapy.
Depending on your individual needs, therapy may incorporate EMDR, Brainspotting, somatic approaches, mindfulness, ACT, CBT, attachment-based work, compassion-focused therapy, and other trauma-informed modalities.
Amy is also trained in Induced After Death Communication (IADC), an EMDR-based approach used in work surrounding grief and traumatic loss.
There isn't one technique every person needs.
Your therapy should be shaped around you.
Therapy for Narcissistic Abuse in Indiana
Relationships involving narcissistic or emotionally abusive dynamics can leave you profoundly disconnected from your own judgment.
You may replay conversations repeatedly.
You may wonder whether you're remembering things correctly.
You may feel responsible for keeping the peace.
You might recognize that the relationship is hurting you while simultaneously feeling unable to decide what comes next.
Amy specializes in helping women navigate these complicated dynamics in partnerships, marriages, families, workplaces, and other significant relationships.
Therapy isn't about telling you whether you should stay, leave, forgive, confront, or cut someone off.
It's about helping you understand what's happening clearly enough to make decisions from a place of greater self-trust.

Meet Amy Logan, MA, NCC, LCPC
Amy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor providing online therapy throughout Illinois.
She earned her Master's in Counseling from Northwestern University and has been practicing for eight years. Her approach is humanistic, trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that therapy should recognize you as an entire person — not simply a diagnosis or collection of symptoms.
Amy has pursued advanced training in trauma-focused approaches including EMDR, Brainspotting, IADC, and treatment for narcissistic abuse.
Most importantly, therapy with Amy is built around the relationship.
Some sessions may involve processing experiences you've carried for years.
Others may involve talking about something that happened Tuesday.
You set the pace. Amy will meet you there.
